Le parc Pépinière,
this park originally was ordered by Stanislas Leszczynski, who in
1737 became Duke of Lorraine. In 1765 along the old city wall a royal treeschool
was founded.
In 1835 the treeschool was transformed into a public park, conserving the original
structure.
Nowadays it's a large green spot in the centre of the city and an ideal place
to walk and pass the time.
