May 2007: Niklaus Wächter, 5th of November 2006, flying D-KRRK above Lake Lucerne in Switzerland.

Since May 2006 the Taifun 17E II D-KRRK is stationed on the former military airfield at Buochs. From here it makes its turns with its new owner, the journalist and photographer Niklaus Wächter seated on the left seat, above the Swiss mountains sometimes reaching the coasts. The most beautiful moments often are very close. On this picture the D-KRRK is soaring above Küssnacht at Mount Rigi, during early afternoon on a sunny 5th of November, while the pilot and photographer is aiming his camera southward. Lake Lucerne is shining vivid gouldlike colours and on the horizon from left to right the Buochserhorn, the Stanserhorn and the famous Pilatus can be seen. Behind the promontory the Bürgenstock with its famous hotels can be spotted. Right behind that Buochs airfield is situated.
