2007: The Viaduc de Millau, pictured by Henk Dumont flying
in his Taifun 17E II (D-KFDI) , during the "Taifun United"
flight across France on July 22nd 2007. The Viaduc de Millau (height
343 m, length 2460 m) is the world's tallest vehicular bridge and is
a part of the A75-A71 autoroute from Paris to Béziers. The bridge
is situated near Millau, hence its name, some 100 km northwest of Montpellier. |
